URGENT: DS-160 errors after fingerprints taken

Hi,

Consulate: Guadalajara, Mexico

CSC (finger prints) appointment: 30 January 2014

Consulate appointment: 04 February 2014

We have a huge issue. I helped my mother in law fill a ds-160 for visit to the USA so I put b2 type. She was given two separate appointments. One for the fingerprints and one for the interview. She showed up to the fingerprints but a guy on CSC told her she had filled out incorrectly the application because she should have put b1/b2 type and not only b2 because that's for medical reasons.

Anyways because she doesn't know computers or English a gentleman helped her fill the new application. She then had her fingerprints taken with this new application. However after she was out of the place she realized the application is not accurate and complete.

We want to fill a ds-160 and either she explain the situation to the consulate officer on the interview day and show him/her the two confirmation letters or either call the consulate to explain the situation. This would be her third application if we do it.

Have any of you have experience on this? And good advise is highly appreciated.

Comments : Applied pursuant to INA 319(b) on the basis of marriage to a U.S. citizen who is or will be regularly stationed abroad. Application sent to the Virginia office. Fingerprints taken at overseas embassy and sealed on enveloped to be sent with N-400 application.
