Hi everyone,

I lost my job so now my dad is going to be my co-sponsor for the K-1 visa. He is a naturalized citizen, he has the citizenship number but he doesn't have the citizenship certificate anymore. He lost it or misplaced it. Is it okay if we just copy his passport book for proof of citizenship.

What else do I need for co-sponsor?

Thank you so much.

Yes, he can use a copy of the biographic page of his US passport to prove citizenship.

What else? He needs his own I-134 and supporting documents too, such as most recent tax transcript, letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs.
