Hello

Can anyone who put a service request share their experience? Is that really of any use? Will they respond with any actual/useful details like why a case has been delayed or what is the estimated date to make a decision on your case?

Or is that going to be a generic automated reply like 'Its under review' or 'We will contact you when a decision is made'? you know the kind of annoying responses you get when you call USCIS Customer service?

I put a SR a few days ago and all I am getting is that I am now blocked from asking anymore details for the next 30 days.

Any information is appreciated.

I have three service requests open in the system for my pending I-129F:

1- the first one initiated by a tier 2 on December 27th, with a due date of January 14: yet to be assigned

2- The second one open also by a tier 2 on January 15th becuase the first one was never assigned. They said I should hear something by February 5th

3- I opend the third one in the system on January 27th. I have no idea what is the status of it.

I'll wait until the 5th of February and if I don't get an answer I'll call tier 2 again.

So far, no help at all

Same with me...

I have:

1 service request due Feb 1st

1 service request due Feb 10th

SEVERAL ( I lost count) inquiries from the Senator's office. second to last inquiry was Dec 30th saying my case is assigned to an immigration officer for processing with a blurb saying I should hear something WITHIN 30 days.

I also have the 60 day supplement included with my hard copy transfer notice.

I am now past the 30 days from the senator's inquiry and 63 days past my transfer.

I made an inquiry on Tuesday of this week with the Senator's office for both the I-130 and the K-3 and BOTH service requests.

Still nothing but there is still tomorrow.

you can only put in a service request every 30 days per file.

You are past the posted procesing time. You should call the Senator's office and the Ombudsman's office. INSIST on an expedite due to being outside the "normal" processing time.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks for the replies!

I have contacted Senators office. One day after that some guy called me from the office and said that he got my request and release form. But he said that they can only inquire NSC about my case but cannot do anything to expedite it. I said OK because at least something is going to happen.

Just waiting to see if either that or Ombudsman's application works.
