Dear VJ community,

I am from the UK and am the beneficiary in a CR1 application, my wife is a USC.

We have recently submitted our I-130 and are yet to receive our NOA1.

I have worked with an exhibition company for almost 8 years travelling around Europe and the US however I am considering handing in my notice of resignation and applying to become a self employed worker with the UK government in order to do freelance work for my remaining time within the UK.

My spouse and I are worried that this might cause a problem or delay our process as on the I-130 we have stated that I work for my current employer until present.

Can anyone please shed some light on whether or not this might be an issue if I was to pursue it.

Many thanks :thumb:
