I am living in HK. i am holding green card. I am wondering... if I file I-130 to apply for my wife and two kids, is it difficult?

I know that when I go back to US, i will need to get a job first and show that I can financially support my family.

Do they require me the make certain amount of money for supporting 3 family members?

let's say i make 85K a year, what is the chance to getting my petition approved?

Any advice is appreciated.

hi

how long have you been out of the US. a LPR has to live in the US or the person will lose the GC. residency is to reside, live and work in the US, if you have been out of the US for more than 1 year, you have abandoned your GC

you cannot file for your family if you're not a LPR

I am already a LPR, i have been away from US for only 2 months...

I am asking how much i need to make to apply for my family.

please don't stray from the topic.

Here is the current poverty guidelines you need to follow directly from the USCIS website, it will change once the 2014 poverty guidelines are up. http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf

As another member said, you need to be making at least $29,437 annually for a 4 member household.

No.

Common Fallacy.

You, as an LPR, should already be IN the USA with a job.

0, as income is not evaluated during the petition adjudication process..
