I got my NOA2 approved last January 22, 2014. I've been reading some topics regarding getting a MNL case# at NVC. is it true that the waiting time to get and MNL case# is longer if your application is filled in CSC than TSC? how long should i wait to get my MNL case#? what should I do next?

It depends whether you filed it in TSC or CSC. But all I know is you can wait for like 4-6 weeks until you received a letter from the NVC.

Congratz on your petition approval !!!

Next, you need to get your MNL case number from the NVC. Hopefully it won't take too long. A friend of mine recently got their MNL case number in about a month. His petition went through the CSC. Maybe you can start calling the NVC in two or three weeks. Don't wait for the NVC to send you a letter because that will set you back a week or two.

Start getting your official letters from your employer, 3 years of tax transcripts and begin completing your I-134. It can take up to 8 weeks for the NVC to receive the petition and assign a case number and the USCIS even says it can take them 90 days to mail out the petition. I'm currently on my 9th week, so check in periodically with the NVC. I've been calling twice a week.
