My husband is from South Africa. He came on a K-1 Fiance visa. I am in the process of trying to obtain a Status Letter from Selective Service. He was previously admitted to the US on 2 J-1 visas and an H2B. They need evidence of his arrival and departure dates - showing that he was a non-immigrant during the time he was in the US before he turned 27. However, his old passport (with all of these older visas) has been damaged and is no longer legible. Any guidance on how/where I may be able to request a list of his previous arrivals and departures from the US? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

You can submit a Freedom of Information Act request with CBP asking them to disclose all information they have of his arrivals and departures.

As I understand it, this can take over six months to around a year due to the current backlog of such requests.
