Hello All,

Even though I find Visa Journey incredibly helpful and I have spent quite a bit of time trying to familiarizing myself with the site I find I have a very difficult time navigating the site. Because of this I am going to ask several questions.

1. I would like to be added to the July filers spreadsheet but have no idea how to do that. My NOA 1 is July 3, 2013. I was informed via e-mail on December 27, 2013 that my petition was transferred to the Texas Service Center (TSC). I also received a Form I-797C in the mail on December 30, 2013 also saying my petitions (one for my spouse and one for my stepson) had been transferred to the TSC. I can't even figure out how to post a question in that forum or any other forum for that matter. What is the procedure for doing that?

2. Looking around the website I know I found a guide that was titled something like "Easy Spouse Guide". I found it more than once but now after multiple searches cannot find it. It is so frustrating. How can I find that again or am I dreaming?

3. I have a timeline but I notice that many people have a detailed timeline at the end of their posts that has more information than the timeline. How do they do that?

4. I hope I am getting close to receiving my NOA 2. Because I am newly retired I have no employer to put on my Affidavit of Support. Is there a guide on the most effective way to proceed on an Affidavit of Support as a retired person?

5. By the time my petition gets to the NVC my wife's police record document from Cuba (no issues!) may be easily be eight months old. Will she have to get another one because it is that old?

6. There is a mention on that I-797 of a Premium Processing Application. What is that?

I will have many more questions when the time comes to deal with the National Visa Center (NVC). I wish I wasn't so confused about navigating this website but I just am. I have to apologize.

I really appreciate any help.

Joe
