sahilkundra what did they ask in your second RFE?

Some people here asked my help after they received RFE. I answered the cases 3/4months ago, and USCIS did not adjudicate the cases until now,

1st rfe they asked proof of abuse

2nd they ased for criminal record

So living in San Jose Santa Clara county they don't offer you clearance report because if you been arrested in the county so I putted one receipt showing that I did applied and proof of paper where they don't send clearance report to vawa.

Hi everyone. Just got my Notice of Action receipts for I-360 and I-485 and I-765.

I had done the fee waiver for I-485 and I-765 and I think I got it. So wanted to check and make sure with you guys who also got it.

On I-485 receipt notice it says:

Notice Type: Receipt notice

Fee previously collected

Section: Adjustment as directed beneficiary of immigration petition

On I-765 receipt notice it says:

Notice type: Receipt notice

Fee waived

Class requested: C09

So it means my fee waiver request was approved for I-485 and I-765 right?

Yes. As for the I-485, it means you paid for it before.

A country of Immigrants, that hates new Immigrants... Maybe if education was a right and NOT a luxury, it would be different.

Thanks. But I have never before done I-485 .

I checked the status online and I-765 does say that the fee has been waived.

But on I-485 it does not say. It only says that it has been accepted and being processed.

sahilkundra at this point you just have to wait. USCIS can adjudicate the case within 6 months, after receiving the RFE answer.

Is my case is with vawa unit or uscis?? And the time period for vawa is 5 months why they are taking so much time .i am just worried I applied in october ,23,2012

It's gonna rain next Saturday a lot, then we will keep the meet up, but it will not be a picnic, it will be in the indoor garden at the Donald Trumph Tower,we had a meet up therein January. It's a big public garden indoors. It's located at 725 5th Avenue. I will be there at 1pm Saturday. You still can bring your child, many children will be there, but no need to bring anything to eat, since it's not allowed picnic there, but there is some Starbuck coffee there in case someone wants to get some coffee. It's a nice place to seat and chat for a few hours, the best part there is AC on there,LOL.

725 5th Ave, New York, NY 10022, enter and walk all way to the end, and you see the garden

sahilkundra If your case was not adjudicated yet, then is still with Vawa Unit. They just transfer Vawa cases to the NBC after Vawa approval.

So that's why I was asking you how much time vawa will take ?? It's been more than 3 months so I am just worried

Bring original to all the documents you sent with ur I-485 application including birth certificates, marriage LICENCES, divorce decree etc. If your medical was submitted more than a yr ago, you will need to get a new one done(even if it was not requested. Once it's a year old the io will ask for a new one). You want to ensure that your passport isn't expired. You also need your I-94. You will be sworn in and asked to confirm your name, address, dob etc and then asked the yes and no questions from the i485. They shd not ask abt the abuse.
