Thank you all for your nice feelings.I have been here for long time trying to help each one of u with what I know.I was moved by all the messages u sent me on the forum and in private and even cried from all these good feelings u have towards me.

All the evidences I wrote in my last post make no hope for any approval .My case is denied and my life is gone after all what I suffered from my ex and I cannot return back to my country and I will lose my job even my EAC is about to expire and they for sure will not renew for me.Even the way they sent me the interview notice just 4 days before the interview is not normal. It appears that decision was already taken.

God knows the best for me.

Fancy1, until you get an answer, there is still hope!

Omg my dear, I am praying for you. You just need to know that immigration officers are very tough people (almost everyone) and there is no way you can make up a decision that you are denied only by the way they acted. IO are very trained and almost everyone shows no emotions as they must make a decision in a clear state of mind. Please do not give up. You will defenetely get approval notice very soon.

Fancy 1, please be patient and don't lose hope. They did not approve my case at the interview almost 3 mounts ago... I was so disappointed but, they just sent me a leter to send new medical , so that means they wanna approve it.

Plus, I don't think they can denie your case. They will have to send the case back to Vermont ... I know it's ease to talk when it's not your case , but keep your self busy w something and pray!

God bless you!

They certainly can deny the I-485, but they cannot revoke the prior approval of the I-360; only the Vermont Service Centre can do that.

Wait and see what actually happens before attempting to plan for every single contingency, as doing so will just make you ill, which helps no one.

I am not pessimistic. I am just realistic. Here what the letter the IO gave me says"USCIS is not able to complete ur case at this time.Your case is being continued till final decision is taken. Reason for continuance(3 options and IO clicked on this one):your case is held for review. You will receive a notice from us if we need more documents, need to reschedule u for another interview or if we made final decision on ur case"

This is summary not exact words. The IO asked a lot about my previous work before I got EAC and he asked exact dates which I replied honestly and all of this info where already written in my biometric form and waiver fee form to ask for fee waiver. He did not ask why I worked without work permission .He just verified what I previously wrote then made his decision to give me this useless paper.

I tried to ask him if he can stamp my passport so I can know that I am approved but he refused completely and he said this is for security reasons(non-sense...right?)

Usually if u travel u need a stamp in ur passport plus ur green card to re-enter the states and also to attach green card with ur new passport which he refused to stamp. He said that if they send denial letter I need to respond in 30 days only otherwise I have no case.It does not make sense to me that USCIS after 3 years of reviewing my case in all their centers and asking for every kind of document u can think of or u cannot think of..They know now about me more than I know about myself by far and now they are saying they cannot reach decision?????????does this make any sense?????

If they want to approve me they will approve me on spot in the interview, stamp my passport and tell me to wait for green card after 2-3 weeks like every body else. The worst scenario was to ask me in interview for more papers to send afterwards so they can approve my case or ask me why I worked without authorization or anything they found wrong in my case to ask me to explain but this never happened. The only explanation that they already denied my case before even I go to interview and IO confirmed this in the interview but they do not want me to faint in the office so they allow me to go home so they can send denial.

Not everyone is approved at the interview, as you indicate. Unfortunately you will just need to wait.

They do not stamp passports anymore and you do not need a stamp in your passport to travel international you just need your passport and green card. Don't think about the stamp.

April 2014 I-360, I-765, and I-485 mailed.
May 2014 EAD Received

July 2014 1-360 Approved

They do stamp passports, they just don't do it very often at the interview anymore.

Fancy1 the reasons you mentioned are not reasons for denial, first of all THEY DO NOT STAMP PASSPORT ANYMORE. Most officers don't take the EAD card back .Regarding they couldn't give decision yesterday it does not mean denial.Working without EAD in the past ,before filling vawa is not reason for denial.

Did he asks if you worked without authorization after filing ?what kind the questions exactly ?

I honestly do not understand how you can work without permission after the filling. Until you get a denial, I'd understand. But if VAWA is approved AND / OR AOS is pending, aren't you entitled to a work permit? Even if you don't have a valid card, aren't you still entitled to have one and doesn't the card make it just a formality?

I mean, even if you don't have a valid card for a month cos it expired, and you receive the renewal shortly after, can USCIS say you have worked without permission? I honestly think this is completely irrelevant.

Hi everone.

I was wondering how extensive the immigration does on the background check or during the vawa process.do they have access to our facebook profiles or other profiles on the internet like on this forum using our email address on the application? USCIS can and have previously used social media as part of their checks.
