I remember reading here that someone submitted photos of bruises, that weren't taken at a DV center/hospital/police station and USCIS sent her a message saying that they were going to be disregarded for that reason.

SandraNJ, do they accept these as proof or not?

I believe if the I-485 fee was waived then you must either pay the I-131 and / or I-765 fees or seek separate fee waivers for those forms themselves.

I'm confused. Do you mean the renewals? Do you have to pay $380 for each renewal you request unless you request a fee waiver?

For either the first application or a renewal, yes. You would need a separate fee waiver each time, or would need to pay the fee, since no fee was paid for the I-485.

What if all the initial fees were paid? I-485 and I-765?

If a fee is paid for the I-485 then there are no fees for initial or renewal I-131s or I-765s. This is stated in the instructions for those forms.

melanieuk USCIS might no consider bruises if the pictures weren't taken at a DV center/hospital/police station, if it's not clear how the person was bruised. I saw many cases like that, people asked my help after getting the RFE, despite they submitted pictures of the bruises USCIS asked proof of abuse, but USCIS mentioned they did not have enough proof how the person got those bruises, and other cases it did not show the person face in the picture, just the bruises, then of course they decided not to consider. They take in consideration pictures of the violence if they have enough proof how the person got the bruises, you should have great explanation of the abuse/facts to corroborate the pictures as well.

PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Sandra,

Thank you for helping all of us through our trip to GC.Today I received INTERVIEW letter after only FOUR days after 11 months of applying for I-485.I need your help urgently.I do not have lawyer going with me...just me.They asked for lot of documents in the letter.

My questions are:

1-How should I act in the interview?what I dress?formal or informal?what to do exactly?what not to do?

2-Regarding proof of bona fida marriage..I have from all list they sent me some photos during honey moon and that is it...what I can do to fill this gap?I do not ahve abank accounts or any other stuff from the list they sent

3-Proof of payment for I-485:I did not pay anything because I submitted proof that I am low income according to my taxes and also I already paid for I-485 with my ex-spouse which was denied afterwards because she did not come to the interview..

4-what is the meaning of section 245(i) ?does this apply to me being ex-marrried to US citizen?

5-What should I consider myself?applicant, petitioner or beneficiary?what is the difference?

PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Fancy 1

1- You should not wear shorts, tight or reveling clothing ,besides that you can wear what you want. Try not to show up there using RED lipstick, heavy make up, too much perfume LOL.

2-Regarding proof of bona fida marriage.I have from all list they sent me some photos during honey moon and that is it...what I can do to fill this gap?I do not have a bank accounts or any other stuff from the list they sent

Take the proof you submitted to USCIS,if the officer asks about commingling finances explain you do not have, and why not.

3-Proof of payment for I-485:I did not pay anything because I submitted proof that I am low income according to my taxes and also I already paid for I-485 with my ex-spouse which was denied afterwards because she did not come to the interview..

Are they asking proof of the I-485 payment?it's odd, anyway just say you submitted the fee waiver.

4-what is the meaning of section 245(i) ?does this apply to me being ex-marrried to US citizen?

It does not apply to your case.

5-What should I consider myself?applicant, petitioner or beneficiary?what is the difference?

You are the applicant (applying for an immigrant benefit)y

The petitioner is a person sponsoring someone for a green card .

Beneficiary can be related to resident family member or employer petitions. It's when a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent petition USCIS to allow that relative or employee to immigrate to the U.S.
