Hi Everyone I hve my interview next week as the consulate. I am a vawa beneficiary. I have a question

I don't have my wedding pictures. I have only couple of pictures of us together. I did send my wedding pictures to COX when I filed for I 130. The print of all the pictures and lot of other stuff was taken away by my wife from my apartment. I mentioned this on my affidavit as well. Any idea what should i answer to the officer if they ask me for wedding pictures? Do I tell them my wife had taken them? Please advice. .

pompano girl you were allowed to reenter then you are good regarding your trip abroad. What did they say in the interview? something like they have to review? they don't take 4 months to review after AOS interview. I saw just one case that took 3 months, but most people 30/60days.

They never ask for any proof of marriage in my case at the interveiw (I did walk with it) but I do hear it happens sometimes. Yes just explain to the officer why you don't have any that's the most you can do at this point cause u don't have it and do walk with all proof of bonafide marriage that you have cause u never know wat the officer will ask.

I had to make some changes how I answer pm and emails ,if you sent me a message and i don't answer your pm it means I posted about it here before. The number of pm and emails I receive per month is ridiculous ,hundreds asking why USCIS is taking so long,or whAt to do about it...I will not answer this kind of question any more. I posted over 10times here Vawa cases can take 4/9months to be adjudicated and AOS 6/10months,work permit 30/90 days ,if your Vawa was approved 4,6,8,9 months ago just wait ,don't start wondering about your case if it's not 6/9months at NBC.

Thank you for your answer. I have most of the other proof like rental agreement, bank statement, utility bills. I have pictures of us which I had taken from my camera but not from her...Also we had pictures in the scrapbook but she took all that when she moved out from the apartment as I stopped paying rent...but I will tell the officer the truth.. I have my interview outside America in my home country so kind off stressing on it.

It is hard being a newbie to this forum, not understanding how and where to find information, sorry you being loaded with a lot of questions, i guess asking open questions and hoping everyone chips in will help lessen things on sandra. You can also find information by going page by page through all the vawa parts, Tedious but worth it!!!:)

KLOVE got me thru...

I don't mind answering questions throught pm,because some questions are private to expose here ,I j will not answer questions anymore about Uscis delay in adjudicating a case,it's some thing beyond my control , it's in their web site page the timeline. I receive 100emails per week, and I can't answer each one .I don't like to leave people without an answer when they send me pm,but I am answering over and over about Uscis delay, and I became overwhelming .Once your case was approved ,seat and relax ,you won't hear anything from Uscis in less than 6/9 months.

Completely agree with you, Sandra ! We appreciate your help and don't want to disturb you without reason.

Have a suggestion...

How about creating One post called "Sandra FAQ ". You'll be keep adding to your FAQ post based on the usual question you get her.

Rule would be like nobody can pm you or email you until they read completely your FAQ. When somebody ask some general question what was answered earlier, simply ask her to read FAQ first.

Howz that? :-)

I also think it's a great idea, and it would help a lot of the newbies but I also think a lot of these people asking same questions that have been asked and answered before don't do the research they are supposed to do before asking. The search bar at the top of the screen isn't there for no reason, and it is very easy to find answers throughout the site just by using that tool but it seems like that might be too tedious for some.

Good luck bro, please share your experience with us after the interview as your vawa case is one of the rare ones I've heard of where the I-485 interview is in another country.
