USCIS mail cannot be forwarded (it specifically states on it "Return Service Requested", meaning if undeliverable then the mail is returned to the sender). If your USCIS mail was forwarded to a new address then this was an oversight and not meant to happen.

It was forwarded for over 6 months with no issues, EVER. That' s weird, I received 4 or more letters(receipts and other USCIS mail) from them during that period

For you. I have lost count the number of times people have had USCIS mail returned to USCIS on these forums.

Uscis mail can not be forwarded to another address. It will be returned to the sender.

My bad Ana-stas, seems like you are right and I was just lucky that I got my USCIS mail forwarded. :)

Jessy L nobody is allowed to work in the US without work permit or with expired EAD. AOS decision is discretionary, it means they might approve or not the AOS considering the circumstances of each case.I advise not to work with expired work permit.

URGREAT you must submit a notarized letter to change your address, and most of the time they won't change until you go to infopass to make sure about the change. I know people that asked Uscis 3/4times and despite that they didn't change yet. Yesterday 2 girls received RFE in their previous address, and both asked Uscis several times to change the address.

Uscis didn't update my online status for my RFE and for some others here as well it stayed on initial review. Mine changed when I got approval. But I saw when they touched my case by login in to my account. Hope that helps a bit.

Sandra,

what to do if the EAD expires in may, and person works and can not quite.

The paper work was for new EAD was filed 90 days before.

Since the first reciept of acceptance we did not hear anything.

What to do now? The uscis does not accept the complaint or infopass about it if it has not been 90 days since the paper was filed.

Does she need to quite her job?

When you will go to green card interview if you gona have one, then there is a question about this on the list. They might ask you or might not. I worked while i had Tourist status. So i had to answer yes on the paper with the yes or no questions, but when the officer read those questions to me, he didnt read the whole question through the end, so my answer was no to half of the question, and he just circled no. Well, if this is the only issue that may arise, i wouldnt worry that much. There are people in much worse situation then this. But yea, u are not supposed to work without valid working papers.
