Hey daffodils all you have to do is send a physical AR-11 thru the mail to Vermont to change your address with the vawa unit. USCIS does not accept online address changes for pending or approved I-360. So print one out from here: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/ar-11.pdf, fill it out and mail your change of address to:

USCIS

Vermont Service Center

75 Lower Welden Street

St. Albans, VT 05479-0001

like Sandranj always says, make sure you write on the envelop in big red letter "VAWA UNIT"

The G-28 is a "notice of entry of appearance as attorney", it is the form your lawyer send to USCIS to let them know that he or she is representing you. Do you still have a lawyer? even after you got your green card approved? if so tell him or her to send a new G-28 to USCIS.

Hope this helps

Yes, I still have a lawyer, and all the mail was coming to his address. Thank you very much for your help, I'm going to ask him tomorrow to do this change of address.

Thank you again!!!

Sahikindra I didn't mean to offend you but I felt aggravated cause you sent me a pm asking some questions I answered every single one ,i gave you the legal base for my answer, two days after you posted here the same question again.I don't mind people sending me pm. I appreciate if you and others understand that every time I answer your questions or other people questions someone was left without my answer, cause I can't answer all emails, some days I get 50 emails.Sorry if I was too hard with you , but always speak my mind lol.

No you were right actually!! I am just worried about my misdemeanor .i am sorry.

cielo I never heard a single case of Vawa approved without AOS interview, and the Vawa manual states ALL vawa filers MUST attend AOS interview. This girl maybe did not tell you the whole story.I bet she had interview, or she filed I-751 waiver based in extreme cruelty, and it was approved without interview.

Many people filed I-751 waiver based in extreme cruelty and they mention they filed Vawa. This girl probably had GC before, she renewed based in extreme cruelty, then sometimes they approve without interview.

I posted here before, but probably many people did not read my post ,then here is again. Any question regarding immigration I won't answer through the phone anymore, then email me or send me pm.please.I won't answer phone calls or return phone calls anymore . The number of people calling me every day is too much.I can't work properly or even rest when I am at home.

When you write down your affidavit please try to be organized with dates, people start telling things about 2006,jump to 2011, go back to 2008 and so on.. It's impossible for me to review affidavits like that. Please stop telling about violence ,abuse before the marriage,it does not matter any violence suffered before you got married.

Keep In mind cheating is not abuse, abandonment is not abuse, spending night out is not abuse, being high or drunk is notbuse.Abuse Can be physical, mental, sexual and financial.Mental abuse is a pattern of constant humiliation, control, degradation, threats, coercion etc..It must be inflicted in a such way that you became vigilant, depressed, having anxiety or panic attacks, you are unable to function properly, you lost your self esteem etc...
