I got my interview letter ! I am so happy, I waited 6 mounts since it was transferred .

A little anxious..

Good luck on you interview benB

My i485 case was recently transferred to local "to speed up processing ".. Thing is I'm yet to receive my EAD it's almost 3months and it's upsetting that most people got EAD within 1month yet uscis would delay other people's own.. It's so unfair

Anyone here got his or her EAD before the 3months timeframe? Did you do anything to speed it up or it just happened ? Hey SandraNj do I just wait or call uscis? I really need to start working

Thanks a lot

Sahikindra I didn't mean to offend you but I felt aggravated cause you sent me a pm asking some questions I answered every single one ,i gave you the legal base for my answer, two days after you posted here the same question again.I don't mind people sending me pm. I appreciate if you and others understand that every time I answer your questions or other people questions someone was left without my answer, cause I can't answer all emails, some days I get 50 emails.Sorry if I was too hard with you , but always speak my mind lol.

bestgirlever go to info pass to inquire in person about your case, they don't give information through the phone for vawa filers, not even regarding EAD,it's to protect vawa filers confidentiality.

Ok thanks but do you think I should wait till it's 3months since that's their timeframe for EAD or do I just get the info pass and ask why the EAD hasn't been approved after two months? I still have two more weeks for it to be 3months since I filed AOS, done biometrics yet no news on EAD only i485 was transferred to local. Thanks Sandra

Hi everyone. I have a question for whoever might have an answer for it.

My I360 got approved in July 2013, I had an interview in February 2014, got approved, green card was sent out...and guess what...

my attorney didn't change the address when he moved into a new location, so the green card was returned to USCIS as undeliverable.

Now I'm trying to make sure that I get it, and they said that my attorney needs to change the address with VAWA unit. He only filed an AR-11 as far as I understood,

but never changed the address with the VAWA unit. They also said when I talked to them on the phone that form G28 needs to be filed.

Does anyone know how I should go about this? Can I call VAWA unit myself to make sure the address is changed, or do I just need G28 filed, or anything else?

Sandra I know you are very busy, but if you get a chance to help me out, I would really be greatful!

Thank you!

Hey daffodils all you have to do is send a physical AR-11 thru the mail to Vermont to change your address with the vawa unit. USCIS does not accept online address changes for pending or approved I-360. So print one out from here: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/ar-11.pdf, fill it out and mail your change of address to:

USCIS

Vermont Service Center

75 Lower Welden Street

St. Albans, VT 05479-0001

like Sandranj always says, make sure you write on the envelop in big red letter "VAWA UNIT"

The G-28 is a "notice of entry of appearance as attorney", it is the form your lawyer send to USCIS to let them know that he or she is representing you. Do you still have a lawyer? even after you got your green card approved? if so tell him or her to send a new G-28 to USCIS.

Hope this helps
