Jessy L it seems your sister husband did not withdrew the I-130, or maybe instead written I-360 they messed up and sent it the wrong letter saying I-130. I advise your sister to go to the infopass ASAP, just to make sure about it, because if it is a mistake she must to let them know in order for them to fix it, otherwise they will continue and might send it to the husband "by mistake" the mails.

we have already received approval of I-360, so it could not be the mistake, I hope.

We changed the address on the paperwork, so everything goes to my address, not to her ex husband.

Do you think we need to have infopass (she already had 2 because we thought uscis lost the documents in some kind of limbo(()

So do you think we need infopass ASAP in order to ask them to cancel the I-130 petition?

He is too lazy to withdrew I guess, do we need to do anything to the I-130? Or just let it go?

Sandra,

I recieved both written letters (for 485 and 130) saying that they moved case to Vermont for speeding up the process.

The letters were address to him (130) and to her (485) and showed up in my place since we changed the address.

Do we need the infopass to cancel the 130?

Though, she had 2 infopasses and both unseccessful. They could not tall her anything about her case (and could not even see where it is) and the answer was always just wait.

Sandra help

What a bummer... On my DS 260 I checked divorced as I was served with divorce summons in 6/2012. It being so long I thought my divorce would have finished as my ex was really interested in making my life miserable during my VAWA journey. But yesterday I called the clerk office in my county and the lady informed me the divorce was closed as neither party showed on the hearings. I couldn't as I was not in the country neither did she. So now legally I am still married..

Can anyone advice me what can be done? Do I wait for NVC to send me checklist for divorce decree as I sent only my summons along with a LOE. Or should I send the letter from court house stating it was dismissed? My friend can get a letter. It will cost 50 cents.

Please advice

Jessy L the l 130 petitioner is the only person allowed to withdraw form l130. There is a mistake for sure ,because once your sister filed vawa Uscis should not send any letter to the l130petitioner anymore. I recommend to go to Infopass to find out what's going on.

I need help guys

I have questions regarding working without work permit. If someone worked without a work permit for more than a year and she submitted her taxes for 2012 then after that she received VAWA approval and work permit because of VAWA then she is going to file new tax return this year fro 2013 including that she worked more than 9 months without a work permit, how this will affect her case before interview for green card?will the immigration ask about this in the interview?if they asked what would be her answer?

The strange thing that she worked for more than one employer who use e-verify and she entered her social and non said anything about her eligibility to work before. How is this possible?

Hey gang, quick I-765 form question.

I have a pending I-485 that was filed along with I-130 a while back thru my USC spouse. I had gotten an EAD card and Advanced parole travel document with that pending I-485 back then.

Now that I am going to File I-360 vawa, due to abuse, and have USCIS hold my pending I-485 once I get receipts, I am also going to file a I-765 form to RENEW my EAD card and I would like to know what I should put for question #14. Status at last entry and #15. Current Immigration status ?

I did leave the country after filing for AOS and returned using the Advance Parole travel document during my last entry back here.

For question #16, I believe it is ©(9) for my case.

Will I have to pay a fee? I believe there is no fee associated with renewing EAD under ©(9) category.

Can anyone clarify, Sandranj perhaps?

sandra, need you help with medical insurance =) i called and i think lady had asolutely no idea what i was talking about. so immigration document i have would be i-766, and then it asking for id number, would it be the number eac something i have on the card? and the most confusing part is status. i was telling her i appied for battered spouse, but it was not approved yet, and she told me to put the date my card is valid from in date status was gained part. was she right? or do i need to leave this blank, or just choose -other type of non citizen- status? and i got prima facie, so can i go to dhs and apply for food stamps? thank you sooo much!!!

The cut-off date is September 08,2013(except Mexico), the priority date is April 12,2012, when the priority date is earlier than the cut off date it means the alien has a number available.Priority date is the date you filed your petition.

MeEe I believe you misunderstood the question, because the market place agents ask for SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, or the agent misunderstood you and asked your ID number, because when you sign for the Obama care they give you an ID number, he/she may though you applied before and you were calling to talk about something, and because of that he/she was asking the ID number.

I don't know what status you should write down in the application,I will pass the question to someone who works with health insurance.
