Just got an email from USCIS. I just got approved! Sandra, I can never thank you enough! You were there for me worrying about my living situation, housing, food and doing everything that could help get approval on my case. You were right, finally I got my freedom. It's been chaotic 3years but I couldn't have grown to become a responsible adult without these 3 years. I couldn't have done anything without the people who extend their hands to the victims of domestic violence. I owe this country for every generosity that has shown to me.

I prayed and prayed, my case denied for a very foolish reason. I was mad at God. But now I realize that God has his own timing. God knows whats best for all of us. Thank you!!!

Congrats leilabird!!! too happy for you right now! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KLOVE got me thru...

OMG Sandra, really, when I think about it - how many people you help, it is crazy, thank you for that!

Congratulations leilabird!!!!!!! It is great=)))

Also I want to share, for those of your with understandable anxieties - this is my experience, my anxiety did not disappear. I thought after getting immigration straightened out I would feel better, but unfortunately I do not. I have the same amount of PTSD and I only now realize that my anxieties will probably not go away. So be strong, you bring this baggage to the other side of the reason, so try to help yourself with free therapies as early as you can. I know a lot a countries do not have this free counseling luxury so we are not used to it, but there are in US, take advantage of it - your psychological help is as important as everything else, you have only one you=)))

Congratulations on all approvals. On my side on November 17. I got the second denial which explains the reason being that they received only passport photos on the RFE.They had reopened the first denial because they found that I had indeed sent the RFE in time and it hadn't made it to my file in time.

Which means they lost all the evidence I gave them for the RFE which might have been caused by filling for the green card and .I do have the proof of delivery and copies of all the evidence I had sent them plus new evidence. I have up to Friday to file my motion to reconsider since December 20th will be 33 days. Sandrah do you please have any idea if they are any specific ways in which an appeal shouldd be filed.

The first denial was due to abandonment. I think it might have been as a result of my RFE arriving on deadline day and did it arrive I had filed for both the EAD and AOS which might have delayed the RFE getting to my file. Then a service motion was opened which is usually out of a USCIS error. Then a second denial was sent to me this time saying the RFE only had passport photos and yet it had far more than that. I do have the proof of delivery which will tell the weight.

I repeated this statement because of my earlier poor grammar.

The_glu if you have a lawyer, its way much easier especially when you,re starting the process...l remember when l was writing my affidavit,l only came up with less than two pages of my story and what happen then l gave it to my lawyer, the next time l went to his office l was looking at 10 pages of the same exact story done in a more professional way.as much as it cost more to have a lawyer, its actually worth it especially if your case is complicated..good luck
