Faithkeeper atleast now you know why its taking long..you dont have to worry about it..since the last time they put a service request on my case about a month ago,havent heard anything..l even call 2 more times within the last 4 weeks but they didnt help at all..my lawyer told me to give it another month then he will inquire if l dont get anything..

wanwan we have here a member of this thread that his VAWA was approved approved and he had D.I,.U too,you need to get a certified court TRANSCRIPT . Submit a copy and show the original in your AOS interview. GET letters of good moral character from friends and family

Hope the week is going well for all, any new updates on cases? It seems very quiet last couple of days... Maybe its just me. Also how do you know when you case has been touched? been checking case status and its the same.. Have a great week guys!!

mamaof3 the case is touched to issue prima facie , to issue RFE(if necessary) and to adjudicate the case, that is it.They don't keep looking the case for days,week or months,when they get the case is to issue PF and adjudicate, if something is missing or if they need more evidences they will issue an RFE,

Hey guys USCIS already asked once for more evidence and I sent to them, now my status is Request for evidence respond review. So my question is they can ask 2-3 times for more evidence or usually they ask only once??

Usually they only ask once, but I know someone who was asked Rfe 3 times...i sent my rfe on July 18 and it's rfe response review since then...what was ur rfe about and when did u submit yours?

Like 2 weeks ago. But they asked me for I'm person of good and stuff like that, nothing about my relationship or abuse
