You are more than welcome.

To renew EAD card, you must file the application around 90 days prior to the cards expiration, around August 22nd in your case. You can't file applications for renewal more than 120 days before the expiration date.

For your Fam and Friends affidavits they should look somewhat like this:

SWORN AFFIDAVIT

I, ________ hereby solemnly swear under penalty of perjury that the statements provided below are true and correct to the best of my knowledge:

1.

2. (body of affidavit)

3.

X.

STATE OF NEW YORK

COUNTY OF KINGS

Sworn and subscribed before me this day of , 2014 who is personally known to me ( ), or who has been identified ( ) via ___________________ .

Hello everyone! Cielo congratulations on your interview :-)

I had my interview yesterday. It started a little late, I heard somebody didn't go and everyone else were doing that person's interviews. It lasted about 15-20 minutes. It was a very serious man the IO, he got a little upset that I didn't have a receipt from my rent or my lease contract with me. :-S ( I didn't know I was supposed to bring it with me) he started asking when did I met my ex husband and when did the abuse started he kept going through out the complete file, back and forth. I knew he wasn't suppose to ask about the abuse but honestly he looked so strict and intimidating that I thought I didn't want to get him upset, plus even though I don't like to think about what happened when you have told the truth there's nothing to be afraid of. He asked what I did and were I went after a flee. He asked if I had put a restraining order on him, he asked me what had happened about a picture of a bruise that I had sent... He asked when did we get married, he asked if my ex was violent to our son, he asked to see my id, passport, my son's birth certificate and the divorce decree, I didn't take a copy but I had in my mind leave that copy if asked and just get another certified copy at the court house, in my county do that is not difficult. He was a bit upset that I didn't bring a copy but I explained to him that he could keep it. He asked if I was arrested, since I was, long time ago, I said yes and also that I was cleared, gave him the certified copy from court in regards to that matter. He also asked if I had a relationship with his parents and I said no and he asked why. He kept going back and forth into the file, I think all of them use red pens, he kept doing his thing into the file, I felt like a fifth grade student having a paper reviewed :-S

He asked how often does my ex husband see our son and how much child support do I receive, he asked me if I was going to school and if I am working, he asked me where do I work and what do I do there. And finally the sweetest words came out of his mouth "I'll grant you the residency " he asked if I had photos with me... I had just pictures, like the ones I had sent with the package as complement for bonafide marriage. But he meant passport pictures. That brought to his attention that he had pictures in the file, he reviewed those asked me to identify my ex husband, asked me how far apart were our ages, then he said they didn't need those pictures any more so he handed them back to me ( :-S ) - the ones I had sent to Vermont. He said again that he was granting the petition and escorted me out, half way to the hall he let me leave on my own and he returned to his office, Btw he said I should receive my card in 2-3 weeks... I don't know however if I will receive RFE for passport pictures... Well that was my experience when I received my card I'll complete my time line... But my journey started in March 2012

You guys I am like floating right now and I don't know if this is a dream... I don't know if this is real... I just got a notification from UsciS.

That said : On August 1, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. I just got that 3 days after my aos interview.

I left work ...I ran outside called my mom and i started crying ...I am in shock right now.. all the pain.. the humiliation the control the abuse .....everything that I went through.. it's finally over I'm finally free.

I want to thank everybody but most of all ...out of anybody i want to thank Sandra she is the most wonderful amazing generous kind human being... without her help and patience .. I honestly I don't think I would be where I'm standing right now. I have to go back into work in like 10 minutes I I just needed to scream at the world and let somebody know.

Alright a little bit more later you guys ok. To all of those that are still waiting and haven't received anything don't give up hope there's still a chance okay.. I have a dui broke my probation twice and I was still able to get approved.. so there's still hope.

Sandra I will never get even with you, so I can only be of help to others someday and somehow pay back life forletting me find your heavenly soul.

Somebody sent me a pm, I'll answer here in case somebody else needs to know this. I did state in my application that I was arrested, the case was dismissed and I requested a certified copy from the court house. I sent a copy with the package and I was asked again during the interview and as Sandra always suggests when we had something related to law enforcement I took another certified copy which the IO kept. Remember we have to state the truth in the forms. To the member who is having financial hardship, remember we cannot advice you to break the law but we will be forgiven for working before filing, once we file we shall not work without work permit, however you will be given a prima facie document which helps you receive benefits, I did sell cakes and clothes and belongings I didn't need or that I could get rid off at a local flea market while I was waiting on approval of my I-360, in case you want to consider that option

CITRAGIRL thank you for your text message with your kind words. I am very happy for you too. I reviewed/fixed your case almost at the same time I was helping Czrrr... Congratulations my dear.
