Just want to say hi to everyone, hope you guys are doing good.

Today my 18th months waiting for vawa adjustication started, I requested for PF extension on May, 20 and no news as well. The PF expired on June 28th (the one that was issued for 60 days).

Ombudsman, congressman, infopass, e-mails to VSC, lawyer...nothing helps

I just got the paperwork to file for divorce, What are some security measures that I need to take in order to protect myself from my soon to be Ex wife. I don't want her to know my address or that I have an approved Vawa.

This reminds me I have to go to the court house today and get the divorce packet and file my divorce as well.

You don't have to state whether you have an approved VAWA or not. The paperwork doesn't ask for it. Nor does it ask your immigration status. As far as the address goes check if you mention a PO Box address or one of your friends or family address.

giveusfree if your case is in the local office they probably will set up your interview soon.Check the USCIS web site your local office timeline to have an idea when you will have interview.

Hi Sandra,

I got an email from my congressman's office that my I-485 was denied in 2011 according to my local office. In Aug 2013 I got a letter from USCIS saying that my case was accepted at NBC.

Local field office is suggesting I apply for a I-485, all along I have been getting EAD renewals based on my I-485? If I apply again does this mean I go to the back of the line and wait another several months? Please help

Giveusfree was your I485 based on VAWA or was it under something else? Bcos it its based on an approved I360 then they had to call you in for an interview unless they did but you never showed up..

Hi Sandra,

Thank you for the quick response. It was based on my spouse - I asked them to hold it and based on my approved EAD's before I360 was approved and after it was approved, and the last letter from Aug 2013 saying my case was pending at NBC I thought they had agreed to hold it..
