My experience is that my case was trasfrerred about four times since it was approved in Nov 2013...they refuse talking to me over the phone, infopass does not help, emails and letters - forget about it.

Out of curiosity, it will not help me to answer you, but i would like to know if you don't mind, was your 360 ever approved? Did you file for a new EAD or just extension? Because I filed for EAD and still not a word (it has been around 130 days since I filed)

M lawer suggested me to do a AILA request through them just to find out what is going on, some people write congresmen, I do not know if there any ombudsman

They are really really really slow there and sometimes weird and I think the humanitarian crisis does not help it...=((

Hi everybody,after my interview the other day l guess am getting paranoid..l have a question,during the yes/no questions,she asked if l,ve ever received gvt benefits,l said no but in the real sense my daughter receives medical assistance and fs.l did not explain anything thou..will that hurt my case? She didnt give me a decision,she said she will review my case.aagh!! This is killing me!!

Hi friends...finally I am in the US...my Poe was sfo...the immigration guys were nice...they joked with me you are from India how is it possible that you got beaten by your wife. I feel like the agents comments were a little intrusive by asking you how Is it possible that you got beaten up by your wife. It was also disrespectful and racist for them to say that you were lying and that only Latinos hit each other. Even if they were joking I don't feel like that was professional at all. Nevertheless I am very happy for you my brother, you've been through a lot, welcome back to Cali.

Morning all! Counting the days till my interview... 26 days left!! I don't have a lawyer but I know they can't ask about the abuse.. is there like something I can print out so when I go ill have it handy to let them know I know the law.. maybe from the UsciS websire. Sandra, if processing time at the local office is current but visa number is not available, will the local office set up an interview of will they wait until visa number becomes available?

lank I am in the same situacion my interview was two weeks ago, everything were fine they approved my case in my interview but now I need wait for a visa available . Many peolple said the visa are going to be available again on Octuber 2014 :-(

Hi Sandra,

I got my congressman`s office to inquire about my case. VT responded saying that my case for I-485 is under the jurisdiction and currently located at my district office. Does this mean that it has been transferred and can expect an interview soon?

Sorry Sandra and just to add to my confusion - I applied to renew my EAD based on my pending I-485 through VT and they are processing it yet they are saying my file is in the local office.

giveusfree if your case is in the local office they probably will set up your interview soon.Check the USCIS web site your local office timeline to have an idea when you will have interview.
