Its disappointing that you feel that way.

Sorry, killing your child, I have no sympathy for that. As a father of 3, life in prison is a blessing for someone who's taken a life.

Consequences in a civilized society should not be based on human emotion or revenge.

They have camps for people like you here in Texas. They'll fix you up in a month or two.

Justice for me would be 6 feet under, not 3 squares a day for the rest of your life with the possibility of getting out in 25 years.

I don't see that as "justice" It seems more like revenge.

Death penalty sentences have been falling drastically in the last 10 years or so in Texas. I personally think the reason is that they have finally passed a life without parole sentincing option in 2005. Prior to that your choice was death, or life in prison with the possibility of parole after 30 years. I'd guess alot of juries figured why take the chance back then.

So, what would be the appropriate measure be to seek justice for someone who's killed another person's child?

After he left, Little Beard and his men tortured and executed Boyd and Parker in anger over the presence of American troops in the area. Boyd was tied to a tree by his own intestines and forced to run around the tree until he fell dead. The tree is still located in the commemorative park.

The ONLY thing that would remedy the situation is to bring the kid back to life. As a society, we cannot get back what she took, so we must keep her from doing it again. Knee jerk reaction would be life in prison. Its not my fault they can't find more productive things for prisoners to do.

They could do the old witch thing. Burn her alive and if she lives, she's guilty. If she dies, she's innocent.
