Hello guys,

I am facing a strange situation. As from my post, i described my AOS interview and about asking for vaccination document and updated affidavit of support.

Interview was plain, n the guy asked questions and never asked to see any document.

He said that u need vaccination paper and updated affidavit of support. I sent the required papers.

Now, i got a letter, which states that show the joint evidences of living or we will deny the case?

This letter is from District Director.

What should i do now, i even don't know hot make an appointment to explain my case and prove evidence.

Can i arrange appointment for another interview?

Guys help me to understand this ######

thanks

If I were you, I would make an InfoPass appointment to ask about it. To be sure you don't get denied in the meantime I would respond to the RFE and send them evidence to respond to their request. Examples of evidence of joint residence are:

Lease agreement

bank statements in both your names

envelopes from friends/family addressed to both of you

bills in both your names

08/28/2004 Engaged

09/22/2004 I-129F submitted

The OP has already responded to the RFE (for affidavit of support and vax supplement). I believe he got an "intent to deny" letter, not a second RFE.

OP: perhaps you can scan in the letter you received (blacking out your personal info of course) so we can see if it's really an intent to deny letter?

You should send them additional evidence of relationship in BOTH your NAMES like, bills, joint bank accounts, credit cards(photo copy),rental agreements (if you dont own a house, house title(if you own a house), correspondence, health and life insurance Or any documents with both ur names and address...

Get those vaccination supplements in people. A simple RFE for the supplement can lead to horror stories like this.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

P.S. If you really got a notice of intent to deny, you probably only have a very limited amount of time to provide a rebuttal or new evidence before they issue a final denial. Whether you get a lawyer or not, you need to respond ON TIME or you *will* be denied.

In the letter, it said that i have twelve weeks. However, i sent my evidences and other paper work today. The officer, who interviewed us was different but the letter we got is from District Director, and it loks a woman. Like i described my interview story before, that immigration officer spent a lot of time in interview and asked different questions, but he never asked for any evidence. He also told my wife that I couldn't get green card today as i need updated affidavit of support and my vaccination supplement.

The letter now indicates that this officer is saying that u sent only one combined statement and a paper showing insurance policy beneficiary change, I sent these two papers only to present financial papers for affidavit of support. She has written that it indicates that since ur interview date u provided us only these two papers as evidence.

However, i sent my papers and pictures and a statement about our relationship from my professor.

I sent some of the bills as originals and some bank statements as copies.

Also, our second anniversary was on 4th of march. Will it give me some benefit that we are married for two years now?

Guys i really response from u ppl experience.

AFAIK most communications are signed, from the district office director, although I doubt s/he wrote them all herself. They just use her name because they are acting with her authority and oversight.

Two years of marriage = you qualify to get a ten year GC

You still may not get a ten year card, but at least there is the possibility!
