Yes, you are right that it would require commitment and skill to keep it quite, but then it took 2 years before it was discovered that the IRS was targeting TeaParty and other conservative groups. So it is not out of the realm of being possible considering all the other scandals this administration has been involved in. We have a president that doesn't know nothing about anything when he is asked, and he has a professional liar that deals with the press corp and networks, so anything is on the table as far as I am concerned.

You know that's they weird thing. If you were presenting yourself as a middle of the road democrat, you'd think you'd encourage the tea party in order to split the party, if nothing else. The tea party will never beat the 50% mark. But if they got to the point to where they could add a third party for president, the dems would have it made.

I think Obama is about Obama and his legacy, nothing more or nothing less. It does not matter to him who or what is destroyed in his construction of his legacy! Dems, repubs, and independents are mere stepping stones in his quest and each will discarded after their usefulness to his mission has dissipated .

What's surprising is that you think what you just typed makes sense.

For Obama to have a legacy, he has to achieve something that will last the test of time. If he 'steps over and discards' anyone and anything, he will not achieve anything that will have any lasting merit. So, what 'legacy' is he seeking and who has been stepped over and discarded to achieve it? Obama is not the best president, nor is he the worst president that the US has had and he has not done anything that can substantively be proven to be more dictatorial and less for the US population than any of the rest of them. That you think he has is bizarre but not unexpected.

I'd imagine the estimates were too high in the first place. Add people refusing to kowtow, and now you have a failed plan of action that probably cost the state a LOT of money to enact.

It does not hold any water. I am sure at the inception of Affordable Health Care he had hopes that he would provide a lasting legacy for the US people which was probably wishful thinking but that's not exactly what is being claimed here by our fellow poster is it? He has the legacy of first 'black' president all sewn up no matter what else he does or doesn't achieve so it can't be that either.

Well, he's trying to increase the minimum wage for govmint employees, I am not sure how that translates as a legacy for Obama that tramples over the US people though, unless you believe that he personally approves every hiree?

I'm pretty sure he's just happy to be a two term president. His scandals are(in jest) ACA website failure, Benghazi, Secret Service prostitution cover-up, and he's a socialist muslim dictator who's not even a real american.
