B2 Visa on DS 160 but scheduled B1/B2 appointment?

Hi,

I'm trying to bring my wife's mother on a B2 visa. We have everything ready and we have already submitted her DS 160 as a B2 applicant, not a B1/B2 since she only intends to visit for tourism purposes and to visit the family, not for business purposes.

However, on the CSC website in Mexico it said that B2 was for Medical Treatment which is not for her, so we scheduled the appointment as a B1/B2 applicant. Would she have any issues about this on the actual interview date? Or does it really matter for the consulate officer. I reiterate that her actual DS 160 says B2 and that is her main purpose!

Thank you very much in advance!

I don't think it will matter, most B2 applications get issued as B1/B2 combination visas anyhow.
