Frustrated...

It's been more than 2 years for our AOS, 11 months for EAD renewal and 9 months for AP but the only response we got after several phone inquiries, congressional inquiries and many visits to the Baltimore office, is that they are still doing security checks! In our last visit this week, Baltimore office sympathized with us, and in nice words said, "please don't come here again because you have to deal with Vermont!!"

They gave us a fax number for VSC for request to expedite. I wrote a letter to them and will fax it to them. In the meanwhile, today I recieved a response to one of the many inquiries for EAD and AP, saying that "if you don't hear back from us in 6 months, then please contact us again. We are conducting security checks." So basically, don't call us!

What do I do? Or, what else can I do????? This is absolutely frustrating!

Go see an immigration attorney and file Writ of Mandumus.

Indeed. They've really screwed up with you guys, 11 months for an EAD and 9 months for AP? Not counting the absurd 2 years for AOS, of course.
