After receiving my NOA1, I called up the USCIS 1-800# and had them correct a small grammatical error that they had made on the NOA1(only one letter) and requested a return service. The return service letter was dated October 16th, would it be possible that they kept my file in the then incoming October fillers? Just wondering... and worrying,

Thanks

No. Your NOA1 date is your NOA1 date - nothing changes when you correct a spelling error. You're well within normal timing and things naturally slow down a bit during the holidays. Nothing to worry about.

Alright, thanks a bunch.

Would not putting the photos in the original petition in the manor that they suggest here be a problem? I wasn't well informed on how to do that so I taped them to sheets of paper with the dates accompanied by a small caption below them on the paper. Would this method do me wrong?

Thanks!

If something is missing or incorrect, they will send you a notice of request for further evidence. Otherwise, sit back and relax. There is nothing to worry about.
