There are two totally different things to put on the form in different places. They don't have to be the same number, Have you looked at the form?

1) Current income

What do you make right now today multiplied out to a year's total

2) Tax return information for the 3 most recent years. Total income as written on the tax returns.

If you haven't filled out and filed a 2013 tax return yet, then your three most recent are 2012, 2011, 2010.

After April 15 then 2013 must be the most recent. If you file 2013 before you send AOS, then use it as most recent. There is a little overlap this time of year because not everybody has had time to file taxes for 2013.
