When will my husband be able to work? Does he have to wait until he gets the EAD? When is the EAD approved? He has his Biometrics appointment on 1/2/07. What happens after that? Any info would be appreciated.

05/05/07 - Green card has arrived! Hooray!!!

He can work once he has applied for and received his EAD.

Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer

Your husband's EAD will be approved sometime after his biometrics apt. It could take days, or weeks (hopefully not too long though!) for the approval and card to come. He cannot work until he has received his EAD as proof to show employers than he can work legally in the US.
