Yeah ok keep telling yourself that. Actually meeting someone in person spending a long period of time with them and developing a relationship is a million times more genuine then sitting behind a computer and typing to someone. The relationship is more real for many reasons since you actually have to communicate first hand. One person has to peruse the other and get their interest. Please explain how a relationship of a 40+ year old man who uses a dating site to meet a girl in her 20s who wants to marry an American and come live in the US is genuine? Most of these girls just want to come and live in the US and the man just wants an attractive and young woman in his life. This is not genuine what so ever.

Try explaining that to the people who are looking at your case and perhaps the same people who decided that the other not-so-genuine-per-your-reasoning cases are actually more genuine than yours. !()@#@! and moaning does not get you anywhere and sure doesn't get any sympathy from the other members here.

Not all couples who have met online have a big age gap, and not all girls are desperate to come to the US. Believe it or not, I actually had a pretty good life back in Germany and I gave it up for my husband because I love him. Relationships that have started online require just as much dedication and efforts as any other relationship. Probably even more. My husband and I spent more than $7,000 worth in plane tickets in order to see each other during our LDR, and we spent thousands of hours on Skype and writing e-mails to each other on a daily basis. So please don't tell me our relationship is less "real" than yours.

As for the wait times, they fluctuate over time. I waited 6 months for my NOA2, and at that time that was actually pretty fast for VSC. Things are relative.

I never said all couples who met online had a big age gap. Or that all girls where desperate to come to the US. I was using an example that involves some people. And of course someone from Germany wouldn't be desperate to come to the US thank you for stating the obvious. And i have had to put dedication into my relationship as well since we have spent periods of time apart. Why an online relationship may be genuine it is obvious why an interpersonal relationship is more natural and genuine in nature.

Well not really since people on this form seem to suggest that USCIS reviews the applications some what out of order. You are really defensive when it comes to relationships that didn't start interpersonal.

It annoys me when someone makes a stupid, judgmental comment about other people's relationships. You are not in their shoes so try to be a little more understanding instead of making assumptions.
