I was looking a Igors list regarding the Texas Service Center and i see a lot of people got their NOA2 super fast even though their applications are newer. I got my NOA1 on the November 27th and have yet to hear anything else. But my case should be a slam dunk i met my fiancee when she was on j1 visa in the US (two year rule doens't apply) and then i lived with my fiancee overseas for 6 months. I sent a ton of supporting evidence. So i don't understand why people who met online got approved faster when i actually met my fiancee in person? Also it told me the Alien # was changed but it doesn't give it to me!!! Thank you anyone helping in advance!

Just because people met on the internet doesn't make your relationship more important, grow up.

Good thing she's not a relative yet; you'd really wait.

You can get a complete stranger into the US that you met on the internet in 3-6 months but apparently the US can't let your wife in for over a year even though you've been living with her for two years. I don't get the process or the logic behind it.

Why do some applications sit for months while others get approved in half the time? OK you take DCF, Philippines and expedite cases out of the mix and they still don't make sense. Does filing too little or too much supporting evidence effect process times. Do countries matter? These are the factors I'd love to know.

Just because people meet on the internet doesn't make their relationship less real. A spouse visa always takes longer, but once your spouse is here they get a green card right away, therefore can work, drive and do many more things k1 visa holders cannot.

Just the same as you can get a complete stranger that you met and married during a vacation into the US.

Get over it.

Unfortunately people see a few fluke quick approvals out of thousand and thousands likely done to make USCIS averages better, and think that's how it's going to be for them. It is erroneous thinking and is only going to aggravate you.

They don't tell people when their case will be adjudicated because they don't know, and even if they did, they still wouldn't tell you, because then if for whatever reason it didn't happen in that timeframe people would just freak the out on them.

People who just filled in November and forward should be far less antsy in the pantsy and expecting approvals any day now. Expect 5-6 month wait. If it comes sooner, then goody.

I don't know why but this cheered me up in a weird way, these 3 1/2 months don't feel so terrible when you think of it like that. Seeing others early gets pretty upsetting but I didn't really take in the fact that its a small fraction (even if it seems like the majority, anecdotal evidence and all).

Yup, just as genuine as yours!

Yeah ok keep telling yourself that. Actually meeting someone in person spending a long period of time with them and developing a relationship is a million times more genuine then sitting behind a computer and typing to someone. The relationship is more real for many reasons since you actually have to communicate first hand. One person has to peruse the other and get their interest. Please explain how a relationship of a 40+ year old man who uses a dating site to meet a girl in her 20s who wants to marry an American and come live in the US is genuine? Most of these girls just want to come and live in the US and the man just wants an attractive and young woman in his life. This is not genuine what so ever.

Mine took 6 or 7 months last year, your couple of months is nothing.

Exactly! Mine took 9 months last year from NOA1 to NOA2. Whining about 2 months gets you nowhere.
