As for Janelle..I was asking her, because to be honest I have no idea what she has seen or not seen. Most of you younger black guys have no idea, what is was really like. I do. I was there. As the song goes, you should have seen it in color.

And then you have older folks who were "back in the day" making stuff up.

One of the dramatic cases I recall was the Tuskegee airman who claimed his plane when down in a field,

the farmer who ran out there, rather than help him, he bound him with chains and after some abuse, he branded him with a big K on his chest.

He told the story to an audience and even showed the "K" scaring on his chest.

One or two of the details didn't add up and and it was discovered..... Ahhh yes he had been branded but it wasn't by a racist white farmer but rather by his Fraternity mates in College.... at his request.

Now why would someone make up such a hateful story?
