  1. 1. Is unwanted touching really sexual harassment?

    • Yes. Consent is critical.
    • Maybe. The 5 second rule applies.
    • No. If women didn't feel so good, they wouldn't be touched. It is the natural order of things.

eh - for a muslim woman to be touched by a male person NOT a member of her household,

it's a big dealio.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Not all touching the same. Also, it doesn't even specify that the touching is unwanted. I think someone needs to revise their sensationalist definition of sexual harassment.

I see no reason for anyone, regardless of sex, that is not a close friend or family member to touch me....... in any way........ever.

Maybe, but it didn't actually specify that the person doing the touching was male or not a member of the household. All I'm saying is that the article seems to lack cultural context and details about what questions were asked and in what ways. This makes the article a good jumping point for assumptions that may be baseless.

Westside of LA... not so touchy-feely. Thank goodness.

National and Overland. Pico and Sepulveda. I know the area well. It used to be very white bread, upper to stinking rich. Some areas still are, though it has gained some color since I used to live and work there, and suffers severe urban blight now. LA is Detroit on steroids.
