That's not what is meant by timeline.

You have never filled in your own timeline on your profile. Click on the upper right tab with your ID name next to sign out button. At the bottom right of the drop down is My Timeline; click that and update. The site will automatically track you under Immigration timelines to others on the site. This is how the dates are compiled for statistics on processing times. If you did this right you will see yourself under Immigration Timelines.

The times you see when people post were just added as signature so you can see it every time you post.

One more question Collie.

Why do you have to submit tax return and transcripts, are not them the same? My understanding is that the tax transcripts are just your tax return that can be obtained from IRS website.

Thanks again to let me know if I'm missing something.

The tax returns show individual income whereas the transcripts do not. I just did it to be safe as my husband and I file MFJ.
