Hi everyone.

I'm new around here and I got some concerns about the topic. First of all I'd like to explain my situation. My wife is a Permanent Resident for about 2 years already. I'm Mexican and I have a tourist visa for 10 years which has helped me to enter the U.S to see my family during the last 2 years my wife has been there. We got married in Florida in one my visits to the US, that was on April 2013. We haven't filed I-130 because I'm afraid if I applied for the F2A visa they would take my tourist visa away and I won't be able to see my familiy during the process that may take several years. So after going to lawyers and trying to figure out the best option for our case. We decided to wait until my wife applies for naturalizacion and after that I could fulfill the I-130. Meanwhile I'm entering the U.S as a tourist without problems, but I'd like to be with my family fulltime . I'm not sure if this is the best choice out there. We cannot stay separated from each other because We have a kid almost 2 years old who was born in the U.S. Please if You could help out by giving some advice. I would really apreciate it.

Huh? If your wife filed the petition soon after you got married, you should be close to finishing the visa process already. rolleyes.gif

The sooner your wife files the i130, the better. You can still visit them using your B2 visa while the petition is on-going.
