Police records from Morocco

Hello Forum members,

My husband has to get his Police records from Morocco. One of the documents is called "Fiche anthropometrique".

He requested and received this document last year (2013) only to find out that it expired after 3 months.

Since we anticipate to be called for the Interview at the US Embassy, sometime in August 2014, and since my husband didn't return to Morocco for years, will he still need to provide an up to date Fiche anthropometrique?

Anyone who had gone through this experience?

Thanks

They usually want unexpired certificates but there have been reports of a couple of expired ones being accepted, if the person no longer lives in that country. The best people to answer the specifics of your question will be the consulate where you will be having the interview.

Thank you very much for your reply, it makes sense.

Just to add, with your expected interview being so late you will need to be sure if you take an expired one, that it will be accepted, as you may not have time to get a replacement after your interview - you may run out of time waiting to get a copy before end of FY in September or they may run out of visa numbers.
