So my fiance had his interview on the 23rd... we provided so much evidence.. I don't know what else I could possibly provide. They gave him back his passport and told them they would send him a letter in a few weeks. What does this mean? From NOA1 to NOA2, RFE, NVC, consulate to the date of his interview was 3 months and one week. It went so fast. Now we're both devastated and have no idea what this means. Any help? Much appreciated!

There's probably something wrong. Something went wrong with the interview judging by how they return your passport and ask you to wait for the letter. I guess all you can do is wait for the letter.

what basis do you have to say this? None. Were you there to know that something went wrong with the interview? No.Unless there was a 221g given at the time of the interview there is no saying what the outcome was or will be. Making a comment like this when you really have no clue is just going to cause undo stress to the OP.

to the OP: did you try contacting the DoS to ask the status? You may want to.

Do you have any details as to what was asked and/or said at the interview to give us some insight? And perhaps some background on our relationship if you wish to share

Do you have to file a waiver? Curious since you posted in the waiver forum so wonder if thats why you were denied. which then would make since if a waiver is needed.
