Hey how's it going guys. My name is Danny and i filed for the I130 for my wife and step daughter in may, I recieved a NOA on may 20th and a letter that my case was transfered to Texas in December. I have been living with my wife in Mexico for about 8 months now since i sent in the I130 we have a child and we have been married since June of 2012. We also have a daughter i have already applied for a notice of birth abroad and her passport about three weeks ago. So i see some May filers are getting approved I am anxiously waiting for my approval but it is very difficult to live here in Mexico and provide for my family wages are very low and I wanted to get some tips if there was any way i could get my family to the states faster through K1 visa or through another method or just wait it out? Can someone give me some tips please, thanks.

You already married her, K1 wouldn't apply. Do you have a sponsor in the U.S. in order to meet the financial requirements?

04/14/12 - First date in the U.S.

02/26/13 - Married

06/3/13 - Petition Filed (had been unsuccessfully trying to move to Europe)

06/6/13 - NOA1 (National Benefits Center)

12/19/13 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

03/3/14 - I130 Approved

03/18/14 - NVC Received file from USCIS

04/28/14 - Received/Paid AOS Bill

05/01/14 - Received/Paid IV Bill

05/14/14 - Sent AOS Package

05/30/14 - Sent IV Package

06/05/14 - Submitted DS-260

06/19/14 - Received checklist for AOS, resubmitted required corrections

08/09/14 - Case completed at NVC

08/14/14 - Received Interview Date

09/08/14 - Interview date - Approved!

09/11/14 - Raced into town, threw car into a parking spot, and ran down city streets to get to the courier company 2 minutes before the close to get passport back

10/10/14 - POE Entry

Yes I do I meant k3 but I have read that they are not processing them anymore. Yes we are already married since 6/2012 she has a brother that can sponsor her. It is very difficult to mantain my family, and I want to return to the states but I want to bring my family, is there another way to make the process faster ornto apply for some type of permit to continue the process in the states.

September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
