Did you mean that the ds-230 is not required in the interview?

For IR2, no.

Usually, the DS230 is submitted to NVC then NVC forwards the DS230 to the embassy.

What does your CEAC status say?

Amman only accepts ds260 for immigrant visa, it's been that way for several years. When I petitioned my husband in 2011 Amman was already 100% electronic processing.

For IR2, no.

Amman has only accepted ds260 for several years for all immigrant visa applications, whether it's ir1/cr1 or ir2
