Where do I include copy of my birth certificate

Where do I put the copy of my foreign birth certificate? Do I put it in the I130 packet or the I485 one? Thanks much!

It's a requirement for the I-485, and is mentioned in the instructions.

You will need to put one in with the I-130 & the I-485, also if it's not in English you will need to get it translated and put that in as well.

The alien's birth certificate isn't required for an I-130.

According to the VJ Guide for assembling the I-130 number 7 on the list says a copy of the intending immigrants birth certificate and or passport.

The guide has many things that are not actually necessary. Nowhere in the instructions of the 130 it says that you need the intending immigrant's birth certificate.

The guide is wrong; the I-130 instructions make no mention of needing to submit a copy of the alien's birth certificate: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-130instr.pdf

As I said above, it's a required document for an I-485, not an I-130.

Thanks for putting me straight on that, I have been going through our forms & resorting them lol. One question the USC copy of there passport is it just the bio page or every single page that has to be copied?

That's for proof of citizenship, so you would need only a copy of the biographical page. You don't have to send a passport, you can send a copy of a birth certificate indicating the US citizen was born in the US, or a CRBA, or a copy of their naturalisation certificate. A US citizen petitioner has to prove they are a US citizen, and a passport is only one of the ways they can do that.
