we got taken on time by a very straight-faced interviewer, she asked for our passports and driving license and the I-94. Then she asked us some basic questions :-

to both of us:-

have you been married before

have you any kids

do you both work

then to me:-

have you ever transported any drugs

have you ever been denied entry

have you ever committed any crimes here in the USA

do you belong to any political organization

Then she asked us for proof of living together

Then she said everything was in order and that we were approved subject to the friggin FBI check.

When I asked her long it took she said anytime from now till about 6 months

and when she gets it through on her computer she will send out the green card.

I asked her about my EAD and she said I would have to apply for it through the

usual channels, she said she could not do anything about it because it was out of her

jurisdiction.

we got no welcome to America, not even a piece of paper to say we were approved

it was so fuckin disappointing just typical of the USCIS, why get you down for an interview when they know they can't give you the poxy friggin card :angry:

I guess it's into the big black hole for us.

Regards Scotty
