Confused: filed at CSC, biometrics letter from Vermont?

Hi everyone,

I filed for ROC at CSC a little over a week ago (we live in California), received my NOA1 from CSC, and then yesterday got my biometrics appointment letter in the mail. So far, so good.

What confuses me is that the biometrics letter was mailed from St Albans, VT, with the Vermont Service Center address on it, and on the letter itself it says Service Center: ESC (wich I know is just another name for VSC).

Is that normal? Is it the same for all CSC filers?
Or does that mean that my case is now with VSC? That wouldn't make much sense, and I can't believe they could have transferred it between NOA1 on 1/16 and the printing of the biometrics letter on 1/21 (with MLK holiday that's only 1 business day apart)!

It's probably nothing, but I'd rather make sure there's no mistake being done with my casefile... And I'd rather not go through VSC considering their processing times. dry.png

If you filed with CSC and recently received your biometrics letter let me know if it's the same!

I also filed at CSC and got letter from Vermont. I did file at VSC before - not sure if it's because of this reason. Last time when I filed at CSC my letter was also from CSC. However I don't think it matters much. They probably share the same database and VSC has more resources to send out letters than CSC. If someone actually has asked USCIS about this and have their official answer, that would be helpful to post here.
