Applying for F-1 but plan to live with SO in US

I'm applying for graduate school in FL and if I am accepted plan to apply for an F-1 visa. The only problem is that I plan to live with my American SO for the duration of my degree program, and I am concerned that this could be a reason to deny my visa application. I have no intent to stay in the US after my program is finished, and after both of us are finished school we are planning to get married and to have him come to Canada. How can I prove to the immigration officer that I have no intent to immigrate?

Takes copies of the Canadian immigration paperwork with you.

They never ask about who you are staying with or any type of relationship. I was listed on my husbands application as a friend he was staying with, when he had to show he had enough money for school. no name, just friend.

09/23/2013 - Biometrics appointment (completed)

10/01/2013 - status online changed to "Testing and Interview"

10/28/2013 - EAD in production
11/06/2013 - EAD received
11/08/2013 - Interview/Approved with RFE for long form birth certificate

12/03/2013 - sent in birth certificate

12/14/2013 - got notification green card in production
12/24/2013 - Green card
