I have my fiances employment confirmation letter from her employer with earnings of past four years, position emplyed in current position and employment status with company header. I also have the most recent W2. I will be presenting my own savings as an extra note to show that I can comfortably look after myself if we live together.

However my question is:

Do we need to provide this"federal income tax return" if were using income based support on our affidavit where she is not self employed?

If so what is the easiest way to get hold of it and what year is needed?

Apologies if this seems obvious but im not american, I can also be a bit thick at times.

"London will accept any proof on an I-134 that clearly shows income. Some ways besides a tax return/transcript are employer letter, pay stubs, pension letter, or banks statements showing direct deposits. Pick two. "

"Any proof" means they do not require any specific thing...ie a tax return is not required. Yes, many people have reported not having a tax return in London when they tell there experiences. That's why we included that statement in the guide. It is an easy proof, but not required if you have other good proofs.
