When should my mom apply for her tourist visa

Okay guys My mom is coming over here in the US under a tourist visa, she will bring my son over here to live with me and my husband. We filed my sons papers yesterday CR2 visa, wondering when should we apply for my moms visa?

you filed I-130 petition with uscis or filed the ds-260, the visa application, with NVC?

then i suggest your mom file the tourist visa the same week that NVC sets the appointment for the CR-2, unless you are chasing expedites at USCIS and NVC,

then

have your mom file when NVC sends out the casefile to Manila IV.

That's only opinion, though - there is no hard and fast rule.

as those are diferent timeticks.

click my timeline , the timeticks are the same names, same processing, as for your son. P4 is the NvC timetick where the appointment date is set.

i've no idea, really. i not know how to explain it some other way.

study the timetick names in my timeline (left column) - your son's CR-2 has the same timetick names.

if you not see 'timeline' under my name here, come back on a PC, as yer missing a lot of landscape when using a handphone browser.
