Do I have to scan and mail every single page of each of our passports or only the page with our photos and info and then the pages with relevant visas/entry stamps to countries we have been to together?

Posted

i personally sent a copy of every single page of my wifes passport front and back.its a pain but the few bucks you spend in copies may save you alot of misery down the road.its always a good rule to "better to be safe than sorry" when it comes to immigration they will never delay or deny for sending too much information.only for the lack of it. hope this helps out

I agree with mikeandtracy1. Also if the intention is to prove your time together, I would circle or mark with arrows the entry/exit stamps that coincide (in the copies, of course).

Every single page including the blank one AND the front and back cover. That's a copy of the entire passport.

What's the harm?

Making a copy of every single page of the passport is only if you are using it to prove citizenship. If you are using your birth certificate to prove citizenship, then you can just copy the bio and entry stamp pages to use for proof of meeting in person.

All you need to include is a copy of your bio page (the one with your picture and all your info), and copies of the pages with the relevant stamps you want to include. Passport stamps are good primary evidence of meeting.

I am the beneficiary and did the same as you (sent in entry stamps but no bio page), and was fine, no RFEs. Others have received RFEs in the past. It all depends on how strict your adjudicator is, and what other evidence they have to rely on.

I included itineraries of 1st and 2nd visit with my name on it.

Boarding passes of 2nd visit.

An itinerary with both our names on it (travelling together jan 2014)

4 x gloss photos of us together And a hotel receipt

Thd passport pages with the stamps have my passport number on the page so it matches the I-129f

Now I'm panicking!

No need to panic...it's all been sent in and out of your hands now. You have got lots of other evidence for the adjudicator to rely on - the boarding passes and hotel receipt are good ones.

We didn't send bio page of our passports and got I-129F approval in 38 days without an RFE. I think it depends on an adjudicator who looked up to your case file. Some other users here got an RFE for not sending bio page of their passports. But an RFE is not the end of the world and it means someone touch your case file and approval is waiting in a corner.

Don't panic. Sending the passport stamp pages without the bio page is not an automatic RFE. The bio page to go along with the passport stamps is just to show whose passport the stamps came from. It is not a requirement laid out in the I-129F instructions or anything. It is just an extra inclusion. The stamps along with other primary evidence of meeting should be fine on their own.
