We are staying at the Bayview Park Hotel. It is right across the street from the Embassy. Ema stayed there for 2 nights while doing her medical. It looked like a nice hotel.

Nearest--that would be the Bayview Hotel, but I don't think its that affordable. Try and check Gran Prix Hotel in Mabini St. Manila or Lotus Garden Hotel also in Mabini St. Manila. When I had my interview, I stayed at Lotus Garden (was thinking of staying in Gran Prix, but they were already full by the time I got there--I didnt make any reservations online). It's only about a block away from the overpass (which you'll cross to get to the USEM), not that pricey but has all the amenities you need like Wi-Fi, hot and cold shower, etc.

I would say no, because my fiancé the petitioner didn't submit a CENOMAR only her Citizenship certificate..

I had my interviewed last month and it only took 3 mins I was lucky that the consul only asked me one question, and he said I'm approved and my visa will be ready in 2-3 days, he asked me to come back after lunch and then I came back and waited for more than 1 hr then after that they just told me I'm all set.and free to go.. I was surprised because other people still need to go to the diff window and some are not, last week I checked my visa status and saw that my visa was ready but until now I haven't received so I checked yesterday and emailed them bec I can't track my passport, but my visa was finally updated to feb 18, this afternoon I went and checked it again and now it says " Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved after administrative processing, your passport will be delivered by our contracted courier to the address you specified when you booked your interview." So, I don't get it..why suddenly like this??

hi! pls help. about medical. i am worried if the embassy will accept medical result longer than a week before the interview because ive read on the instructions it must be atleast a week before the interview or else you might get another schedule appointment. did you had your medical exactly a week before your interview? I am thinking I of having my medical soon so that I know if ipass the medical. pls help.thank you. your responce is greatly appreciated.

Hi! When is your interview? I had my medical last April 14, 2014 but my interview was set for June 11.

I got the results the next day, thank God I passed! And I got now an earlier interview slot.
