We received our interview date today for a month from today. And I found a job back home, starting in April. Gotta love Skype interviews. Happy days!

Snorbs I hope your visa interview went well. Newgatejm I hope you received the letter you were waiting for.

Thought I'd post my timeline here for the lurkers. I haven't put the complete timeline on the official bit of this site because I don't want our 'lost in the post' delay to skew the data. Good luck, everyone!

Timeline for DCF London:

I-130 sent Sept 19

NOA1 not received

NOA 2 received Nov 5
(With approval date of Oct 17)

Packet 3 'arrival' Jan 13
(Our packet allegedly got lost in the post. After several emails and calls,
I received an email with our LND number in lieu of a packet in the mail)

Completed DS-260 Feb 4

Medical booked on Feb 5 for Feb 7

E-mailed NOA Readiness Feb 5

Packet 4 arrival Feb 26

Interview March 26

Six months seems a bit long for London DCF processing, but it does happen. I'm glad you got your lost package issue rectified and you're now on your way to the interview ;) Good luck.

Hi guys,

Given that we all filed around the same time could I ask a huge favor if some people from this thread can look at the document list I posted in DCF forum yesterday? Our interview is tomorrow and I am flipping out at the last minute (as one does) and would really appreciate some feedback from recent filers like yourselves. Hope you all are enjoying your shiny new visas and hope that I will be enjoying my husband's as of tomorrow. xx

Congratulations! But also, this worries me a lot. My husband (an Irish citizen) and I sent in our I-130 about the same time you did, and we haven't heard anything since receiving the NOA2.

Our timeline goes like this:

03/08/14 - Submit I-130 petition to London (DCF)

03/12/14 - NOA1

04/07/14 - NOA2

…and nothing else. We haven't heard from the Immigration Visa Unit, haven't received a case number or a packet 3. We can't seem to get a real person on the phone. We submitted an e-mail question form to the consulate today but I'm wondering…has anyone else had a similar wait time for receiving their packet? Should we be panicking? My husband is supposed to be starting a semester-long program at UC Berkeley in August, so we're really nervous that we won't get the visa in time. Any words of advice would be appreciated.

It's been a while since you posted this and I'm curious to know of any updates you may have received. I have filed my petition for my wife only few days before you did. Petition was approved on 04/11/14 and packet 3 was received on 04/20/14. She completed her DS-260 on 05/06/14 and her medical was on 07/03/14. We are 2 months behind, but the delay was caused by my wife's lack of 2 MMR shots (she had to wait one full month for the second one). Right now we are waiting for her interview letter. I'm not sure what caused your delay and I wonder if you ever heard back from the Visa Unit?
