Mensing in Manila

So my wife who's menses cycle was supposed to start a week later and usually always late gets it The same day we fly into Manila( Wed). St Lukes the next morn and got through the xray, blood and urine tests and will return hopefully Monday to complete the exam. For those guys that have their gals to this all on their own please be aware of the delays and the costs involved. For my wife who came out of the jungle in Mindanao to navigate the Manila med exams, CFO and interview on her own would be very tough....good on for all the gals who get this done by themselves, especially if they are foreign to the big city. This unforseen Mense cycle if she had been alone would make it tougher as the delay and hotel, food, taxi costs build up quickly, make sure if you are not here to help them through it that they have plenty of pesos at their disposal.

Also we got the 20% discount due to Yolanda. Show your ID if you were in one of the affected areas for the discount but if you were do not bother getting there early as you will have to wait till 7:30am to get the discount...why? It's the Philippines....

Will they let her do the exam if she is bleeding?

Not the Physical exam part. she just needs that and her immunizations and done. I actually flew back from the USA after 3 weeks there to be here due to her period supposedly happening a week later. Can't plan these things, gotta go with the flow so to speak, hehe
