Everyone who isn't adjusting from a K visa has an interview; if you're adjusting from a K visa then you have around a 50 - 50 shot of either having an interview or just receiving your green card in the mail.

1) Be honest in all answers but do not volunteer information not asked for.

2) Be prepared and take copies of all your evidence with you.

3) Do not over-stress it. If you have a genuine relationship, and what's more can prove it, you have almost nothing to worry about. I know this probably won't stop you from worrying, but I figured I'd say it anyway.

hi Mikeandtracy1,

There are many interview experiences posted here... read from a few pages ahead.....

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/445225-aos-filers-happy-filing-and-keep-us-updated-on-progress/page-54

There are many many many experiences in this thread here from a different website... (again start reading from a few pages before for recent experiences)

http://www.trackitt.com/usa-discussion-forums/i130-i485/253129117/all-interview-experiences-posted-here/page/last_page

Typically, you take your IDs, and documentation to show you are living together, photos showing you are together wedding album etc... and pics with any family member etc.... and few questions regarding how you met, how long you have been living together etc.....

And most of these real stories have a positive experience.... :). So relax, just skim through these experiences and do share how your interview experience goes.

All the best.

Hello, myself also was AOS. I came here in USA as B1 visa after 1 month I got married to my fiance an American citizen. Then after 1 month we submitted our documents to USCIS. I received Biometric appointment and next step is the interview. Got my green card after 1 week of interview. The interview goes smoothly. If the officer is asking the husband, the wife should be kept quiet and vise versa. Bring all the necessary documents to prove that your marriage is real, like joint ownership of the house, joint bank account, insurance beneficiary, pictures of the wedding ceremony and the reception. Goodluck.
